Detailed description

Baby carriages have been used to transport infants and children since the late 1700s. But it wasn’t until the 1840s, when Queen Victoria purchased three push-style prams from Hitchings Baby Stores, that baby carriages truly came into fashion. Constructed of wood or wicker, the earliest carriages were intricately detailed works of art, considered luxuries at the time. In tribute to exquisite Victorian Era models.
